The power of story can be just as entertaining
and engaging as a video game.

Check out the most emailed New York Times article of 1/23/2014: "Reading Books Is Fundamental" by Charles M. Blow. For journalist Blow, literature gives "context and meaning to the trials and triumphs of living." In his youth, he found books to be "powerful and transformational... those books saved me: from a life of poverty, stress, depression, and isolation." About 500 readers were inspired to comment.

Our appreciation goes to Lauren and Simon & Schuster Audio for allowing their content on our site, including for President Carter, Rinker Buck, and other authors.

By design, TAC presents an overall 50%-50% balance of female-male authors airing. Our thanks for the support of Lynn and her fine organization, VIDA: Women In Literary Arts

Music credit: Willie & Lobo: "La Lancha," from The Music of Puerto Vallarta Squeeze.

WANTED: Volunteer to properly configure TAC's "social media" onto a basic level. / REVISED DIRECT CONTACT ADDRESS: ecoessays@aol.com
